Frequency of Repeat Caesarean Section at Tertiary Care Hospital

Objective: To determine the frequency of repeat caesarean sections among women presenting at tertiary care Hospital. Subjects and Methods: This cross-sectional study was done Department Obstetrics Gynecology, Shaikh Zaid Women Hospital, SMBBMU Larkana. A total 345 older than 18 years with a history least one previous section regardless gestational age or parity were included. After taking clinical examination history, patients evaluated according to repeated sections. The data controlled on pre-designed proforma, SPSS version 26 used for analysis. Results: average 25.83±4.15 years, 35.18+3.38 weeks; 2.09+0.35. Out cases, 28.7% urban 71.3% rural resident. Most cases booked. all women, 57.1% obese, 51.59% had diabetes. observed in 66.96% (231 out 345) women. respect maternal obesity statistically significant (p-<0.05), while it insignificant age, residency, booking status, diabetes (p->0.05). Conclusion: In conclusion, be highly prevalent. Effective implementation reduction efforts may influenced by social cultural context, as well associated beliefs behaviours.
